Well that’s interesting since financial planners are claiming that parents should not help their Gen Y children buy their first homes!! http://www.smh.com.au/business/property/parents-property-help-could-harm-20100108-lxml.html
With property prices very obviously rising, how on earth will the next generation of Australians buy their own home??
Even if property is increasing in price, the fact is it’s a safe form of long term investment so buying now would be better than looking later when prices will inevitably rise.
I totally agree. I reckon if you can buy one now, do it. Especially if you are renting. Or as an investment property. I know I would. We plan to in the next 10 to 12 months anyway. Just got to get that darn credit card paid off…
Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!
I believe that the Australian housing market is getting unaffordable and difficult to get into without large debt. However, I do feel that most of the new home owners/buyers are all looking for their dream home to start with. Wanting the best suburbs, houses, rooms and bathroom all ready and waiting. We are living in the “Fast food” era where everyone wants everything straight away.
Just like normal you’ve given several amazing material. Been lurking on the webpage for a little bit and needed to thank you for taking the time to create it.
